I hit two deer in 2021 Flips and his team repaired my car both times and they did an excellent job,Flip is a friendly guy,I would definitely go back if needed but hopefully I never got another deer. Peggy Balas

Had a vehicle towed into this shop for service due to breaking down on I81 heading to New Market. I never received a call letting me know what work was going to be done, what cost or when it might be completed. After reviewing the bill and checking prices for parts, it turns out they double the cost of parts for their repairs. I don't mind a company making a profit, this is what keeps them in business. However, I do find it extreme to try and make a 100% profit on parts. My advice to anyone getting service here, bring your own parts and keep a watchful eye on them for sure.

Ended up needing a new water pump, and he did a fine job with that. Then my car stalled out, and so I sent it up to Calvin at PMC again. He took a whole week to even give me a call, and said he fixed a bad wiring in the harness. The car worked fine for 6 days, and then it stalled out on me again while driving. I called Calvin, and he took NO responsibility for his work and acted like he didn't even want me as a customer. I am definitely taking it somewhere else. He is horrible at expressing his thoughts and plan of action, and he seems so disinterested in the customer. I do not recommend him.

Manager, John at the Jiffy Lube in Harrisonburg, Va, was extremely rude and arrogant when I arrived to return my Uhaul rental truck. Although I was schedule to drop this rental at this location, John wanted to know why I was bringing it back there. He refused to check it in, and told me to just leave the keys in the door, though he was outside and by the parked vehicle at the time. He told us that we should probably take it somewhere else, and explained that the last person who brought one there was charged extra charges. When my wife asked his name, he said " I am John, and yes...I am the manager". He came very close to making me lose my temper with the agressive and rude way in which he was talking to my wife. We were both shocked to be treated with a total lack of respect, and from a manager, at that. We are just moving to Harrisonburg from east Tennessee, and will need a garage to do vehicle services, but you can rest assured that we will not give John a nickle of our business.

I need a new compressor for my air conditioning system, according to the Honda Dealership where I purchased my 2012 Honda Civic, quoted at $450. I thought Shenandoah Automotive, who I have gone to in the past for oil changes and other repairs, would give a similar quote. They insisted that if I have the compressor replaced I will also need to replace the dryer and expansion valve and that they would then need to recharge the air conditioning, quoting the repair at $1,435. Obviously the dealership would know if I needed those things. Don't let them sell you things you don't need. I cringe to think about the repairs I've had in the past there that were not necessary. On the up side, the people are nice.
